VIDEO: Man Caught Hiding in Bank Ceiling After Failed Nighttime Robbery Attempt

A viral video has surfaced showing the moment a young man was discovered hiding inside the ceiling of a bank following a failed overnight robbery attempt.

According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect reportedly entered the premises of FCMB during normal business hours, secretly locked himself in a restroom, and later climbed into the ceiling, intending to remain hidden until the bank closed.

The following morning, when employees arrived for work, they noticed the main entrance was locked from within — an unusual sign that raised immediate concern. Upon forcing the door open, they heard suspicious noises coming from above.

Security personnel quickly intervened and located the suspect in the ceiling space, where he was allegedly trying to access sensitive parts of the bank’s infrastructure.

In the viral footage, the man is seen being pulled down forcefully, beaten by security staff and bystanders, and restrained with a rope.

As of the time of reporting, FCMB has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
