Video Captures Six Policemen Brutalising Middle-Aged Man In Lagos State
The unfortunate incident, it was gathered happened around Alausa area of the Nigeria's commercial nerve centre.
A video has shown six policemen attached to the Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Police Force beating a middle aged man, who was said to be a passerby and committed no offence.
The video captured the police officers in the most unprofessional manner beating up motorists.
The unfortunate incident, it was gathered happened around Alausa area of the Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre.
The video @GuardianNigeria shared on its X (formerly Twitter) account which was seen by SaharaReporters, showed the policemen numbering about seven hitting the young Nigerian.
While six was actually involved in the assault, another one was holding a gun nearby. At a point, he released one gunshot in the air.
Meanwhile, while he was watching, three others were holding the young man while three others punched him.
The young man who did not respond to the assault was only overheard saying “you will pay this. Let me call my brother. You will pay for this,”
However, SaharaReporters’ efforts to speak with the Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, were unsuccessful as he did not take his calls.
