VIDEO: 2Baba Apologizes to Wife, Fans for Controversial ‘Men Not Meant for One Woman’ Comment

Renowned Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has issued a public apology to his wife, Natasha, their children, and his fans following backlash over a recent statement suggesting that men are not biologically designed to be with just one woman.
The singer made the controversial comment during a recent podcast appearance, stating that while a man can truly love one woman, he is naturally inclined to seek sexual relationships with others.
“A man is not built to be with only one woman sexually. He can love a woman to death, but it’s not in his biology to be with just one,” 2Baba said during the interview.
The statement triggered intense criticism on social media, with many accusing him of promoting or excusing infidelity. Some, however, defended the comment as a blunt but honest perspective.
Responding to the outrage, 2Baba shared a video on Tuesday night where he expressed deep regret, calling his comment “unlegendary” and offering a sincere apology.
“I know I messed up with what I said, and I understand that I might get cancelled for it,” he said. “I want to apologize to my fans, and most importantly, to my wife—my love, Natasha—and to my children. I’m deeply sorry. That’s not who I am.”
