TESCOM warns public against fake recruitment slots

The Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has sounded the alarm on fraudulent activities surrounding its ongoing recruitment exercise. Scammers are demanding money from unsuspecting job seekers, promising to secure teaching positions or facilitate the shortlisting process.

In a statement, TESCOM’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila, warned the public to be vigilant and not fall prey to these scams. “The recruitment exercise is purely merit-based, and there are no monetary requirements,” she emphasized.

The Commission has not yet begun shortlisting candidates, and any notices circulating on social media platforms requesting payment for teaching slots or dashboard checks are fake.

TESCOM urges job seekers to disregard these scams and remain cautious to avoid financial loss.
