Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has applauded fellow comic and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Aderombi Martin, popularly known as Deeone, for completing a marathon 52-hour stand-up comedy performance in Lagos.
In a congratulatory post shared on X on Sunday, Seyi Law described the achievement as a product of passion, resilience, and years of preparation.
“What many dismissed as a joke was, in reality, a vision nurtured since 2021 with passion and relentless effort. A record-breaking 52 hours of stand-up is monumental,” he wrote.
Although Guinness World Records has yet to officially confirm the feat, Seyi Law commended Deeone’s focus and determination, adding, “You’ve accomplished what many wouldn’t dare to attempt, and I pray this opens doors to greater success.”
Deeone, in a video released on Saturday morning after the show, disclosed that his original target was 60 hours but he wrapped up after surpassing 52 hours.
Earlier, 9jaReporters reported that Deeone had revealed plans to attempt the Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy performance, scheduled from October 2 to 4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos, Opebi, Ikeja.
The announcement, shared with a humorous flier designed like a burial poster, sparked widespread reactions online.
