Osun 2026: Adeleke Cleared As Accord Party’s Sole Governorship Candidate

The Accord Party’s screening committee has approved Governor Ademola Adeleke to contest in the party’s governorship primary, which commenced on Wednesday in Osogbo.

The confirmation was contained in a statement issued by the committee chairman and the party’s National Organising Secretary, Ibe Thankgod. He stated that Adeleke satisfied all nomination requirements and was duly cleared as the party’s sole aspirant for the 2026 governorship ticket.

Thankgod described Adeleke as a “worthy gubernatorial aspirant,” noting that his credentials met the party’s expectations. The committee subsequently presented him with a certificate of clearance.
