OPC condemns Borno blasts, frowns at omission of Fasheun’s name

The Oodua Peoples’ Congress reformed (OPC-R) has condemned a series of blasts by suspected female suicide bombers in the Gwoza area of Borno State.

President of the group, Chief Oludare Adesope at a press briefing held on Wednesday kicked against the recent blasts which claimed the lives of 20 victims and left many injured.

The OPC boss urged the federal government, northern leaders and  Muslim clerics to work together to check because they are always hiding over the canopy of Islam. There is no harm in fighting for one’s rights but killing one another is inhumane and must be put in check.

” Nigeria is presently facing hardship and it will not be good to cause more danger to people.  President Tinubu should open the border between the country and the Benin Republic to address the hardship. If food items are affordable, people will be relieved but closing the border and the rise in customs duties is seriously affecting the citizens.
