Just in: Tinubu to swear in seven new ministers Monday – Presidency
President Bola Tinubu will swear in seven newly appointed ministers into his cabinet on Monday, November 4, 2024.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, revealed this on Sunday via his X handle.
Onanuga said, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.
The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
“Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State Education.
“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”
The Senate confirmed these ministers on October 31, following a major cabinet reshuffle by Tinubu on October 23.
The reshuffle saw 10 ministers reassigned to new portfolios, five were discharged, and seven new nominees were submitted for Senate approval.
