JUST IN: APC Chieftain and Eminent Historian, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso, Passes Away
Renowned academic and Osun APC chieftain, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso, has passed away.
Reports indicate that the respected Ede-born historian died after a brief illness.
The news of his death was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Olalekan Badmus, Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Digital Media, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
“Rest in power, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso. An illustrious son of Ede, Osun State, and Nigeria. What a sad loss!” he wrote.
