American R&B star Ciara has lauded the visible transformation in Lagos, noting significant improvements in road cleanliness and infrastructure since her last visit.

During her recent trip to Nigeria, Ciara expressed her excitement about the city’s progress.

“I’m so happy to be here, and I’m really glad,” she said. When asked if it was her first time in Lagos, she replied, “No, this is not my first time — I know about Lagos.”

Reflecting on the changes she observed, she added, “When I used to land, I used to see dirty roads, but now it’s all clean and has changed.”

Ciara arrived in Lagos to mark the 15th anniversary of Lagos Fashion Week. Her remarks come as the state continues infrastructure renewal projects under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, including road rehabilitation and drainage system upgrades.
