FULL LIST: Benfica, Club Brugge, Copenhagen, Qarabağ complete 36-team UCL line-up as draw holds today

The 2025/26 UEFA Champions League league phase is now set after Benfica, Club Brugge, Copenhagen and Qarabağ clinched the final four places in Wednesday’s play-off second legs.

Their victories complete the expanded 36-team roster, with the official draw scheduled for Thursday (today) at 18:00 CET in Monaco.

Earlier in the week, Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty made history by reaching the group stage for the first time, defeating Celtic 3-2 on penalties. Norway’s Bodø/Glimt also booked their place despite a 2-1 loss at Sturm Graz, advancing 6-2 on aggregate after their emphatic first-leg win. In Cyprus, Pafos FC celebrated their maiden appearance with a 3-2 aggregate triumph over Red Star Belgrade.

Benfica edge Fenerbahçe

At the Estádio da Luz, Kerem Aktürkoğlu’s 35th-minute strike secured Benfica’s progression with a slim 1-0 aggregate win over Fenerbahçe. The visitors came close when Youssef En-Nesyri hit the crossbar, while former Benfica forward Talisca was shown a late red card.

Qarabağ withstand Ferencváros

In Baku, Qarabağ sealed only their second-ever Champions League ticket, holding off Ferencváros 5-4 on aggregate. Leandro Andrade and Abdellah Zoubir overturned an early deficit before the Hungarian champions fought back, but the hosts ultimately held firm.

Copenhagen overpower Basel

Copenhagen eased past Basel 2-0 (3-1 agg.), thanks to goals from Andreas Cornelius and Youssoufa Moukoko. Goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski impressed once again, ensuring a clean sheet for the Danish champions.
