Award-winning actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has expressed joy and gratitude after Oyindamola, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), dedicated her academic research project to his movie Seven Doors. The Nollywood star described the gesture as both humbling and inspiring.
Adebayo, who is the son of veteran actor Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), took to social media to celebrate Oyindamola’s scholarly work, acknowledging the far-reaching influence of his film. The student’s research, titled “The Aesthetics of Oral Performance in Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors,” examined the artistic and cultural dimensions of the movie, emphasizing its impact beyond entertainment.
The actor later visited Oyindamola at OAU, where she formally presented her project to him. The meeting stirred excitement on social media, with many fans praising Adebayo’s humility and his willingness to connect with young scholars who draw inspiration from his art.
