FarmProxy, a fast-growing agricultural brand based in Oyo State, is currently hiring a Video Content Creator & Scriptwriter to join their creative team. This full-time role is perfect for someone who’s creative, self-driven, and comfortable working in farm environments.

About the Role

As a Video Content Creator & Scriptwriter, you’ll be responsible for developing engaging video content that highlights farm operations, rural development projects, and community stories across various locations in Oyo State.

This is a field-based role with in-office collaboration, designed for someone who can script, shoot, and edit content while working closely with the strategy and media teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Script and record compelling video content across farms.

•Document farm activities including planting, harvesting, and training.

•Edit videos into clean sequences for publishing.

•Organize and label video files properly.

•Add basic overlays and visuals (charts, text, props).

•Collaborate with the creative team to shape story direction and tone.

What You’ll Need

•Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting ability.

•Experience using smartphones or DSLR cameras (self-taught or formal training).

•Basic editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Canva).

•Ability to work independently in farm/rural locations.

•Strong time management and communication skills.

•Basic knowledge of file sharing tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Added Advantage

•Experience in rural or agricultural content creation.

•Understanding of YouTube content strategy and pacing.

•A good visual eye for storytelling.

•On-camera confidence or basic interview skills.

•Ability to collaborate with field staff who may not be tech-savvy.
