Manchester United continued their resurgence with an impressive 4–2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday, marking their third consecutive win after a difficult spell earlier in the season.
Goals from Matheus Cunha, Casemiro, and a brace from Bryan Mbeumo sealed the triumph for Erik ten Hag’s side, who now appear to be rediscovering the attacking rhythm and fighting spirit that once defined their glory days.
United took control early in the game, with Cunha opening the scoring in the 24th minute after a well-timed assist from Casemiro. The Brazilian midfielder then turned scorer ten minutes later, heading home from a Luke Shaw cross to double the advantage before halftime.
Bryan Mbeumo added a third in the 61st minute with a composed finish, before netting his second deep into stoppage time to complete a stellar individual performance.
Despite late goals from Danny Welbeck (74’) and Kostoulas (90+2’) for Brighton, Manchester United held firm to claim all three points.
