BREAKING: Governor Nwifuru Announces N150k Christmas Bonus For Ebonyi Workers

Newsmen reports that there is massive jubilation in Ebonyi State following Governor Francis Nwifuru’s announcement to pay all civil servants in Ebonyi State are set to receive a Christmas bonus of ₦150,000.
This payment is scheduled to be disbursed before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, according to a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor.
Last year, the governor, alongside his colleagues from Lagos and Rivers states, offered ₦100,000 to civil servants to ease the impact of the fuel subsidy removal.
Local government employees, who received ₦50,000 bonuses last year, are hopeful for a similar directive to their council chairmen.

Recently, the governor also raised the minimum wage in Ebonyi to ₦75,000, exceeding the federal government’s benchmark of ₦70,000, with additional increments for higher grades.
