BREAKING: Ekiti Governor Dissolves State Executive Council

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Sunday night.
According to the directive, all affected Commissioners and Special Advisers must hand over to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior civil servant in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.
Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude to the outgoing council members for their service and wished them well in their future endeavours.
However, the statement clarified that the dissolution excludes the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, as well as the Commissioners for Health and Human Services; Agriculture and Food Security; Education; Works; Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives; the Special Adviser on Special Education and Social Inclusion; and the Special Adviser on Lands, Survey and e-GIS.
It added that all Directors General who are part of the State Executive Council would also retain their positions. These include the Director General, Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD); Director General, SDGs and Project Monitoring; and Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
