BREAKING 2027 Coalition: Atiku, Secondus, and Other PDP Leaders Hold Strategic Meeting in Abuja

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Senate President David Mark, former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, and other prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have convened a crucial closed-door meeting in Abuja.

The high-level gathering, taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, is part of a series of consultations aimed at finalizing a coalition platform to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Alongside Atiku and Lamido, other key PDP figures in attendance include former PDP National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, and former Governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), and Sam Egwu (Ebonyi).

Sources at the meeting confirmed that the discussions, chaired by David Mark, are centered on whether the PDP leaders will fully merge into the planned 2027 coalition or retain their PDP affiliations while collaborating in an electoral alliance.
