The Atiku Support Group-ASG; the mother support group of the PDP Presidential candidate; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the 2019 General Election, today met in Awka, the Anambra state capital to deliberate and strategize ahead of the campaign flagoff on November 18, 2018.
The group, whose officers met today in Awka debated extensively on how its proposed campaign for Atiku and Obi, will reach the grassroots.
The Chairman of Atiku Support Group Anambra State Chapter; Comrade Chika Nwosu, reiterated that the ASG Anambra state chapter was formed by 9 different groups in Anambra state who came together to pledge full support for the Atiku/Obi ticket.
According to the Chairman; Comrade Nwosu, President Buhari has no locus to stand for the 2019 General election because he simply does not have the basic educational qualification required to be in the contest, in the first instance. The Chairman whose position was collaborated by the group’s secretary; Mr. Osibe, noted that Mr. Buhari has no WAEC certificate and stated the group’s readiness to challenge Buhari’s candidacy in court, up to the Supreme Court, if possible.
Other leaders of the group who spoke observed that as it were, the President of Nigeria; Alhaji Mohammadu Buhari, has demonstrated crass recklessness, nauseating incompetence, lack of capacity and willingness to give Nigeria the leadership it deserves. They regretted that some people are making fruitless attempts to compare Buhari and Atiku, a comparison that has no basis whatsoever. This is because, while Atiku is an employer of labour, Buhari is not.
While Atiku is a wealth creator, Buhari is not. While Atiku is a nationalist, Buhari is a sectionalist. The difference is clear, echoed the group’s Anambra South zonal Cordinator; Mr. Ebuka Onyekwelu, who further observed that Atiku’s choice as PDP candidate has altered the calculations of the APC which accordingly explains why the APC has remained trapped in a state of confusion.
Barr. Njelita an exco member of the group said he is committed to seeing the final exit of Buhari from Nigeria’s public life.
The Anambra State Chapter of Atiku Support Group, avowed its total support to the Atiku/Obi project to get Nigeria working again, in 2019.
