Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Face” Idibia has moved quickly to calm fans after a disturbing Instagram post appeared on his verified page, pleading for help and sparking widespread fear for his safety.
In a video posted on his official accounts, the African Queen singer firmly denied authoring the troubling message and reassured everyone that he is safe and well.
“My people, make una calm down. I no post that thing. I am perfectly okay,” 2Face said. “This matter is getting out of hand and it’s now putting my family—especially Natasha—at risk. It’s not fair on anybody.”
He continued: “Everybody just cease fire. We dey handle wetin dey happen privately. People get family issues sometimes; e no be today. I beg una, make una stop the panic, no escalate this thing. I am fine.”
The alarming post, which has since been deleted, surfaced amid unconfirmed reports of a heated argument between 2Face and his wife, actress Annie Idibia (referred to by the singer as “Natasha”), during a recent trip to London. Some online sources claimed the disagreement led to brief police involvement, though no official confirmation has been issued by either party or UK authorities.
