VIDEO: Fayose reveals his final wishes for burial

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has outlined detailed instructions for his burial, declaring that his remains should be handled by the Ekiti State Government after his passing.

Speaking during his 65th birthday celebration, Fayose emphasized that both his family and future state administrations must honour his burial wishes. He disclosed that a formal letter would be submitted to the government to ensure compliance “in another 15, 20, or 30 years.”

The former governor requested that his burial be organized within four weeks of his demise, with his children and relatives participating alongside state officials. He also mentioned that he has prepared a burial site in the garden of his grandmother’s house and requested that it not be visited afterward.

“You have shown me love and taken care of me. Allow me to go when the time comes,” Fayose said, thanking his supporters and family.
