APC Grassroots Giants Bello, Owoeye Left Out as Osun Appointments Under Tinubu Don Reach 50

President Bola Tinubu don appoint over 50 indigenes of Osun State enter key positions for him government, but the absence of two political heavyweights – Rt. Hon Adejare Bello and Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye – dey cause serious talk inside APC camp.

•Hon. Adejare Bello, from Ede, first enter Osun House of Assembly in 1997 under DPN, later serve as minority leader, and by 2003 become Speaker under PDP. In 2021, he chop appointment as Nigeria Ambassador to Mexico, but since Tinubu recall am, Bello never get fresh political role. •Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye, the immediate past Speaker from Ilesa, na another grassroots mobiliser. Some APC members talk say both Bello and Owoeye remain key “rallying points” in their zones, and leaving them out dey raise question about the party’s 2026 election permutation.
