JAMB orders UTME candidates to re-upload 2025 WAEC results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates who uploaded their O’level results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) results to return to accredited centres and re-upload the updated results.

In its weekly bulletin on Monday, the Board explained that all previously uploaded results have been deleted from its system to avoid discrepancies and to ensure only verified WAEC results are used for admission processes.

According to JAMB, some candidates who wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) had uploaded incomplete WAEC records while awaiting the final release.

“To resolve this, JAMB has directed every candidate to re-upload their results, regardless of whether or not they differ from the earlier submissions,” the statement said.
