BREAKING: LASU-JAC Suspends Strike, Resumes Academic Activities

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of staff unions at Lagos State University (LASU) has called off its strike, clearing the path for academic activities to resume on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Speaking on the development, the Public Relations Officer of the Students’ Union, Comrade Asikoto Olamide Mauyon, confirmed that the decision was reached collectively by the unions, allowing lectures and other academic activities to recommence.

Meanwhile, 9jaReporters learned that the University Senate will soon meet to issue an updated second-semester examination timetable as part of preparations to continue the academic activities.
