2027: Seven Nigerian Governors Risk Losing Re-Election — Primate Ayodele Warns

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning to seven state governors in Nigeria, cautioning them that their second-term bids are not guaranteed.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele listed the governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Ondo, Kaduna, and Zamfara as those facing uncertainty in their re-election pursuits. He urged them to intensify efforts, pray, and take necessary steps to secure a second term.
“The governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo must put in serious work to retain their seats. Their re-election is not assured unless they are diligent and prayerful. This is a sign of what lies ahead,” Ayodele stated.
He also sounded a note of caution to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, advising him to be vigilant and prayerful to avoid losing his position in a potential political reshuffle.
“Senate President Godswill Akpabio needs to be very cautious. I foresee his position being traded, and he must work hard and pray to retain it,” Ayodele warned.
