Tinubu Will Secure 15 Million Votes in 2027 – Former APC Presidential Aspirant

A former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nicolas Felix, has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s re-election chances, declaring that Tinubu will secure no fewer than 15 million votes in the 2027 presidential election.
Felix made the remark on Thursday in Suleja during the distribution of thousands of litres of free fuel to Nigerians as part of his personal outreach initiative. He dismissed the recently launched opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as posing no real challenge to Tinubu’s second-term bid.
The coalition, unveiled on July 1st, includes prominent figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi, and former APC aspirant Rotimi Amaechi. The alliance aims to present a united front against Tinubu in 2027.
Reacting, Felix downplayed the coalition’s significance, insisting it lacks genuine direction or unity.
“In a democracy, opposition is expected. But we’re not worried. They’ve been campaigning, yet they’ve said nothing concrete about what they plan to do,” he said.
“There’s no threat from this coalition. They’ll eventually fall apart because their intentions and motives are not sincere. As far as the APC is concerned, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on track to win in 2027 with at least 15 million votes.”
Felix pointed to recent government initiatives, including the over ₦100 billion in interest-free student loans disbursed to 600,000 students under the NELFund scheme, as evidence of the president’s growing support base.
“Students across campuses are celebrating. Their families will vote too because they understand the impact. This is why we’re confident of victory in 2027—it will be a walkover,” he added.
Explaining his ongoing fuel distribution outreach, Felix said it aligns with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and aims to provide relief to everyday Nigerians.
“This is our way of supporting the Renewed Hope vision. We’re giving back to the community and putting smiles on people’s faces. We’ve done this in Edo and now here again. It’s particularly important for those who need it most—Okada and Keke riders,” he said.

Also present at the event, the APC’s Deputy National Women Leader, Zainab Ibrahim, advocated for the swift passage of the Special Seats Bill currently before the National Assembly, describing it as a potential game-changer for Nigerian women.
She also praised the federal government for allocating over ₦100 billion to the Ministry of Women Affairs for the first time and assured that women across Nigeria would rally behind President Tinubu in 2027.
