BREAKING: NYSC Opens Portal for 2024 Batch B Remobilization

The management of National Youth Service Corps has activated the portal for Remobilization against Batch B 2024. We confirmed this via the official portal of the scheme NYSC Portal .
The Excercise has commenced and will end on the 13th of May,2024

Registration for Remobilization’ is required only for corps members that have been mobilized/deployed in a previous NYSC batch but absconded from service. It’s not for prospective corp members.

What is NYSC remobilization?
NYSC remobilization is a process that allows you to restart or continue your NYSC service year if you absconded from the program after attending the orientation camp.

This means that you reported to the camp and got posted to a place of primary assignment (PPA), but then you abandoned the program without completing the 12 months of service.

Some of the reasons why you might need to do NYSC remobilization are:

You left your PPA without permission or approval from your employer or NYSC officials
You failed to report to your PPA for a long period of time without a valid reason
You engaged in misconduct or criminal activities that led to your dismissal or arrest
You relocated to another state or country without applying for relocation or redeployment
You lost interest in serving or fulfilling your obligations as a corps member
Whatever the reason, if you want to resume your NYSC service year and get a new posting letter, you will need to do NYSC remobilization to register again and get reinstated into the program.

Key Differences Between Mobilization and Revalidation

The main difference between NYSC revalidation and NYSC remobilization is that revalidation is for those who did not go to camp at all, while remobilization is for those who went to camp but did not finish their service year.

Another difference is that revalidation is usually an automatic process, while remobilization requires an application and approval from NYSC officials.
