Former Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Students’ Union Government President, Ajao Samson, has kick-started a 214-hour marathon reading to break the Guinness World Record.
The marathon reading, held at Adolak Conference Hall in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, began in the early hours of Monday, with numerous lovers and admirers throwing their support behind Samson.
In a statement issued by Folaranmi Ajayi, for the Media Team of the event, Nigerians were called upon to keep praying and supporting Ajao Samson for success in the ongoing reading marathon, which is expected to last for nine days.
A visit by an AMILOADED correspondent to the venue observed that the program is being livestreamed across various social media platforms.
As of the time of filing this report, Ajao Samson had read for over six hours out of the proposed 214 hours.
