BREAKING: LASU Announces 2024/2025 Online Admission Screening

Lagos State University (LASU) has officially launched its 2024/2025 Online Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking entry into its undergraduate programs. This online screening is mandatory for all prospective students, including those applying for regular courses, regular programs with entrepreneurship, and direct entry candidates.

Application Details:
Prospective students can apply for the screening under two categories:
1. Regular Students: For UTME (100 level) and direct entry candidates.
2. Regular Students with Entrepreneurship: Exclusively for UTME (100 level) applicants interested in programs that incorporate entrepreneurship training.

Candidates are permitted to apply for only one of these categories, and simultaneous applications for both categories are not allowed.

Eligibility Criteria:
– UTME candidates must have chosen LASU as their First Choice institution and achieved a minimum score of 195. They must also be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2024.
– Pre-Degree Studies students and direct entry candidates must also meet the UTME score requirement and adhere to LASU’s admission criteria.
– Lagos State origin candidates who have validated their claims with the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee will have their claims automatically validated during the screening.

Accredited Courses:

The 2024/2025 academic session will offer a wide range of accredited courses across various faculties, including Arts, Communication & Media Studies, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Law, Management Sciences, Science, Social Sciences, Medicine, Agriculture, Library Science, and Transport & Logistics. A special program will offer entrepreneurial courses in fields such as digital marketing, fashion design, and event planning.

Application Procedure:
1. Visit the LASU website and follow the steps for payment and registration.
2. Log in with your UTME registration number and surname.
3. Complete the online screening form, upload required documents, and submit the form.
4. Review and confirm all details before finalizing the submission.
5. After successful completion, candidates can download their screening result.
